பொதுவா குழந்தைங்க வளரும் போது அவங்க எல்லாத்தையும் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்யறதுல ஆர்வம் காட்றதுபோல தன் உடல் சார்ந்த ஆராய்ச்சில அதிகம் ஈடுபாடுவாங்க. இது சமயங்கள்ல குழப்பத்தையும், அவமானமா புரிஞ்சுக்க வாய்ப்புகள் அதிகம். நம்மை சுத்தி இருக்கவங்களுக்கு அத பத்தின அறிவு சார்ந்த விளைவும் கூட. வளரும் வயசுல பெற்றோர் இல்ல நம்ம பாத்துக்கறவங்க கிட்ட தான் கேட்போம்.

ஆனா, அவங்களுக்கு உண்மையா அத பத்தின புரிதல் இருக்கா? இல்ல பொதுவா எல்லாரும் பின்பற்றும் பிற்போக்கு விஷயங்களை, தெளிவற்ற அறிவை நமக்கு சொல்லி குடுக்கிறாங்களா? இந்த கேள்விகளுக்கான பதில் இன்றைய தலைப்புக்குள்ள நம்மை எடுத்துச்செல்லும்.

ஒருமித்த கருத்தோட, ஒப்புதலோடு நடக்கும் உடல் சார்ந்து இருக்கும் உறவாகட்டும், தன் உடலை சரியான முறையில் புரிஞ்சு நடக்கும் விஷயங்கள் ரொம்ப ஆரோக்கியமான ஒன்னுதான்.

இதை எப்படி எடுத்து போகணும்னு சொல்றதுக்கு பாலியல் கல்வி மூலம் பெற்றோர்கள், குழந்தைகளுக்கு உதவும் வகையில் "அவேர் இந்தியா"வின் அடுத்த காணொளி
"பாலின, பாலியல் அறிவு சார்ந்த குழந்தைகளை வளர்ப்பதின் அவசியம்"
வாங்க தெரிஞ்சுக்குவோம்.

பார்ப்போம், பகிர்வோம், பயனடைவோம்.

Many children go through bitter experiences of talking and while exploring about sex, where curiosity intermingles with confusion and shame. In our childhood, we were curious about sex and sexuality just like we were curious about every other thing. And usually it is the parents or other immediate care-givers who are approached for answers and clarity.

But do the caregivers appropriately pacify these curiosities? Or do they knowingly or unknowingly perpetuate a larger culture of shame and stigma? Is our approach to raise children sex-positive? The answers for these questions will lead us to todays topic in our SexEdTalk video series.

Sex positivity is basically the idea that all sexual activity, as far as they are healthy and explicitly consensual is a positive thing. It embraces sexuality, sexual identities and practices.
