I saw her there, with bloodshed eyes <br />Without her feet she seemed to rise <br />All around her were just flies <br />And a smell I did demise <br /> <br />I wasn’t sure of what I’m seeing <br />Inside my head I was still sleeping <br />Dreams can be so fucking real <br />Things aren’t always as they feel <br /> <br />She said she couldn’t really sleep <br />She said she went too far too steep <br />She couldn’t feel her arms, her legs <br />She said she had too many drugs <br /> <br />My blood went straight down to my feet <br />When I saw this glowing heat <br />Coming of her pure white skin <br />A face, a smile evil grin <br /> <br />Her hair stood up strait in the air <br />Words repeated like a prayer <br />The room I was inside, was gone <br />Outside I saw the braking dawn <br /> <br />Everything was different now <br />The dirt beneath just wasn’t ground <br />The air once light, was now to thick <br />My smoker lungs, just couldn’t breathe <br /> <br />As my body hit the ground <br />My soul departed far beyond <br />I saw a light beyond description <br />No words not even in the scriptures <br /> <br />I saw her their beneath the ground <br />My eyes just opened really wide…. <br />Looking straight up at the ceiling <br />I turned my head <br />I saw her there with bloodshed eyes <br />Without her feet she seemed to rise<br /><br />thomas coltrin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dream-or-reality-7/
