Unboxing Nothing's CMF Phone 2 Pro, with an early review of the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and more. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is already one of the best budget smartphones of 2025, fixing many problems with the Phone 1!

For one, Nothing has now added NFC support for contactless payments, plus an Always On Display. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is an even more capable gaming device, as you'll see in my Wuthering Waves tests. Plus, you've got another neat selection of accessories to customise and personalise this smartphone.

The Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro hasn't changed much as far as media creds go. But for a price of just over £200 UK, you get a reasonably bright AMOLED screen (plus, yes, a mono speaker setup). That budget price also delivers solid battery life, although the CMF Phone 2 Pro's 5000mAh battery hasn't been upgraded vs the Phone 1.
