Miami South Beach Florida Vacation
Staying in South Beach can be rather expensive, but it can be done less expensively if you choose the right hotel room. Uber and Lyft are inexpensive for getting around but it is even cheaper to walk, which was our preferred method of travel. A nice stroll along Ocean Avenue or right on the beach is the proper way. Plus if you're on vacation what is the rush? The Fritz which is located directly across from Lummus park is much less expensive from most of the small Art Deco style hotels along South Beach and it features large Suites, most with full sized kitchens and a living room with a pull out couch. Additionally there is a beautiful roof top pool that not many guests don't even use. The SLS and Delano are farther North on the Island and are much more expensive but they feature massive pool parties during the Miami Music Week. Staying on South Beach puts you in very close proximity to lots of shopping, dining and Night clubs.
