Corey Thomas - Nick's poem

She was one of a kind, <br />A smile that illuminated my life. <br />Her strength I will always carry with me. <br />From the time I was born, <br />She was there reassuring all my moves and dreams. <br />Qualities I will never forget; <br />The way she moved with such dignity and grace. <br />The marvelous hugs I always received. <br />The knowledge she instilled in me, <br />Even though she protected me <br />It was never overwhelming. <br />She built the confidence you see in me. <br />The love she has for me <br />Will never disappear. <br />Although she is no longer near <br />All the memories will remain here. <br />I am honored to say: <br />She is my mother <br />and I am her son.<br /><br />Corey Thomas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nick-s-poem/
