Bodrul Alam - After A Long Waiting Time
And we met, <br />Heaving a sigh of relief <br />In a mizzling sunny morning <br />In the thirty seventh rainy season in my life; <br />Thank God! My search ended finally wearing a smile on face. <br /> <br /> <br />We met, <br />And we cried in joy <br />Mutely in our concealed spirits <br />(Probably my heart's lub dub ceased for a while) <br />When I found myself lost in sweetest joy of beloved kinship. <br /> <br /> <br />Unknowingly, <br />And with no realization <br />We waited so long to meet one day <br />(Unconsciously, unintentionally and unplanned) . <br />When we met, it was drizzling as though blessings from heaven. <br /> <br /> <br />May be, <br />We've crossed our roads before, <br />May be we sat together in a running bus <br />May be we stared at each other with blank eyes <br />But couldn't figure out what our muted heart is searching for. <br /> <br /> <br />And we met. <br />And that's the truest truth, <br />And that's why my heart is singing now, <br />In sweetened tune of never ending delightfulness. <br />Thank God!
